Kozarec has played a key role in growing Fortress’ formidable roster, which includes Oscar-winners Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings), Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain), Mychael Danna (Life of Pi) and Rachel Portman (Chocolat) and Oscar nominees Nicholas Britell (Moonlight), Daniel Pemberton (Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse), Philip Glass (The Hours), Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Clint Mansell (The Fountain) and Owen Pallett (Her).
The company’s clients currently boast 11 Emmy nominations for shows like Succession, The Last of Us, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Andor, Ms. Marvel, A Small Light and Daisy Jones and the Six.
Fortress also represents music supervisors Liza Richardson, Maggie Phillips, Frankie Pine, Michael Hill, Wende Crowley and Amani K. Smith.
Robert Messinger, Rich Jacobellis and Randy Gerston, the founding partners of Fortress, praised Kozarec’s rise.
“We are thrilled to acknowledge Jake’s significant contributions to Fortress and its continued success. He shares the same values we do – hard work for our clients, good taste and judgment, and integrity – and was a perfect fit from the moment he joined the company. We are very excited to see what the future holds.”
